The advantage of compotes is the fact that they contain whole, unground fruit with the flesh and skin. Thanks to this, the structure of nutritional values is more beneficial to our health than in drinks and juices, because in addition to simple sugars and water, there are also fiber, pectins, organic acids, mineral salts and other valuable ingredients slightly different in each fruit.

    Joanna Bielewska, MSc, dietitian

Strawberry compote contains numerous polyphenols present in strawberry fruits, such as anthocyanidins, flavonols, tannins, which have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and blood vessel sealing properties. It also has a lot of fine seed fiber.

We produce strawberry compote from selected Senga Sengana strawberries. It is a very good compote variety, because apart from its deep taste, it has small and firm fruits that keep their shape in preserves. Compote is essential, so many people decide to dilute it.

The advantage of compotes, including strawberry compote, is their very low degree of processing. Pure, ripe and healthy fruit is simply poured over with a solution of water with sugar and pasteurized. As a result, the nutritional benefits of the raw fruit are largely preserved. A good alternative for people who cannot eat raw fruit.
